My approach to mixing is centered upon balance, clarity and maintaining headroom/dynamic range. I specialize in electronic music but will be happy to work on anything!
Using heavy compression and maximizing loudness may seem like the future of sound to many people. However, I argue that this is simply a competitive approach towards selling more product. My focus is maintaining fullness and integrity of sound, not loudness. Having an overall quieter track will not automatically render your work inferior to a top 40 tune.
In addition to mixing, I also specialize in sound design, synthesis, arrangement, and editing. I will be happy to produce your music with any level of involvement you see fit; ie. I can work with a hands-off approach towards the music or I can be as creative as you'd like.
Most importantly, I am open to your feedback. Ultimately, I am here to work for you-- if something doesn't sound the way you want it, let me know and I will gladly fix it to your liking.
