Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I did foley for an indie horror film called My Dead Selfie. I had so much fun on that project. I am especially grateful to the filmmaker for giving me my first sound design credit in a film.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Whichever I love them both!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I'm quiet lol.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Have vision!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been an active music producer for close to 8 years. I'm a virtually self taught musician. I began dabbing on the piano at age 3, began playing violin at age 10, the flutist at age 12 followed by the Bass. I began composing original music at age 11. My high school photography teacher introduced me to Garage Band which is how I got into music production. I went on to study music composition at Howard University and Berkelee. Since then, I've produced for independent artists and scored for independent films.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: A Mind-bending, seductively dark blend of Hip Hop, psychedelia and electronic.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love work with Kid Cudi one day.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Learn basic theory and listen to all types of music.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Hip Hop, Classical, R&B and Electronic music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My eclectic ear.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a new sound, edginess and a provocative lyrical/vocal flair to a song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My work process varies from project to project.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use an iMac and MacBook, Logic ProX, Reason, ProTools, Behringer MS40 studio monitors, Onyx Producer 2-2 Audio Interface, MXL V63 M Condenser Studio Mic, Moog Theremini, Novation Bass Station II and Akai MPK mini and I have access to acoustic and electronic instruments (Bass, flute, violin).

A: My biggest musical inspirations are Beethoven, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, DJ Premier, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Missy Elliott, Pharrell, Swizzled Beats, Timbaland, Allan Vega, Santigold, Rihanna, M83, and Hans Zimmer.
