A: I am inspired by Diane Warren, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Prince, Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney, Missy Elliot, Aretha Franklin, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, & Lionel Ritchie to name a few.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both. Analog for the feel. Digital for the effects.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I promise to give you a high quality product.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: That I would do it for free.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That Biggest misconception people have is that I only do a certain style of music.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What is the service you need? What is your turn around time needed? What is your budget?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Let your imagination run wild. Be specific about what you want but don't be afraid to ask for suggestions on what can bring the best results.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: MacBook Pro with ProTools Neumann U87 microphone Universal Audio Solo/610 mic preamp ... ...

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I have been songwriting 19 years. I used to be in a girl group which is where I really honed my early skills as a songwriter, but I began singing under the direction of my mother who was a choir director.

A: Vibrant, current and thought provoking,

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Taylor Swift. She appreciates great lyrics and knows how to present her music in a way that is still current and relevant.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Keep it simple.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Pop, R&B, urban contemporary, dance, and hop-hop.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Songwriting.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: New perspectives, high quality, and timeless lyrics that are still compatible with what is current on the radio.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I record in Protools 12. I use Neumann U87 microphone.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: The most common type of work I do is songwriting (top line), vocal production, music production and vocal mixing.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I worked with Justin Timberlake on a project for Jessie J. I was proud of that moment simply because I learned the value of balancing simplicity with extreme creativity.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I am currently working on songwriting for Estelle and Ty Dolla $ign, sync music, a few dance projects while recording and mixing them all.
