Whatsup SoundBetter! I'm ready, willing & able to add that piano/keys/synth sparkle to your project, or produce a track from the ground up! I have two decades experience on the keys in jazz, pop, RnB & more + the ear and sensitivity to meet YOUR vision. Piano is my specialty but I'm also capable in Production/Mixing/Mastering. I come from primarily a jazz background - I've studied since I was twelve years old & received a bachelors in jazz performance from Temple U - but through the years have found myself in just about EVERY context/genre in terms of performing, accompaniment and session work. I've co-led multiple original projects over the years, ranging from jam, hip-hop, & live electronica, and have two full-length albums out from my original jazz/fun/fusion group The Julian Hartwell Project.
I love collaborating with other artists to help bring their projects to life, whether it's helping the songwriting, production, arranging process..or just staying in my piano lane and getting.the.job.done. I find I'm at my best simply trusting my ear and intuition above all else - always making sure to complement rather than dominate the Music capital M. I'm happy to offer piano tracking services from my Logic Pro X home studio setup, and since 2020 have been greatly upping my production/mixing/mastering skills to create full-scale tracks from the bottom up.
