Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on my recording studio, giving it maintenance, making it grow and learning new things continuously.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Each song has its own core and needs to which I bring my experience, passion and mindfulness.

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It is a job that allows me to be with my dog Leo and realize how amazing music is to deliver a message.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I am a DJ or that I party all day.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Even if music is a business, never forget that it is also an expression of the human being.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A ukulele, a hand-recorder, in-ears, a piano and a computer with internet so I can answer when you contact me.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My professional life has had different stages: I started recording, mixing and mastering bands of different genres in recording studios; then I worked in TV broadcasting operating live news; and I have had the opportunity of doing projects of direct sound and sound design. Now I have my own studio with my dog Leo and I specialize in mixing and mastering.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: It depends. I can be clear, deep and clean or I can be dirty, analog and noisy. I am classic but adapted to modern technologies. Additive and subtractive at the same time.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Value each element individually without losing the general perspective of the song.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Independent music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Working under pressure, not losing the general objective, achieving the expected sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First, we have a communication stage, where we define the objectives and references, we schedule the next steps to follow according to the work that needs to be done.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing, mastering and sound design.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Max Martin, Rick Rubin, Pharrell Williams, Gustavo Santaolalla, Hans Zimmer.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes! I would like to recommend my friend, producer and collaborator Diego Aguirre Cruzaley, with whom I have worked with in several projects and is a great teammate.

A: My profile name is @andresesanalogo ("Andrés is analog") and even though it is not Andrés is digital, I am delighted with the current digital possibilities.

A: What do you want to communicate with your music? What is the ideal goal you have with this project? Describe briefly the sound you have in mind. Tell me three references I can use to work with.
