Svirgo19 aka Samuel Virgo is a 17 year old rapper hailing from Sheffield UK.
I am a student of the British Institute of Modern Music (Bimm) in Birmingham UK. I have been writing and releasing music since he was 14. I released numerous songs on sound cloud before moving to a new city and improving and growing my craft i took a route down into lo-fi hip-hop and chill-hop. However i also still write hip- hop and rap music.
I am always open to collaborating with people.
Since the start of 2020 through distro kid i have been consistently releasing music include working with artists such as Bknott from America where his key influences come from i plan on dropping an EP at the start of 2021 and 2 more in the second half of 2021 along with some singles as well. I draw my inspiration mainly from artist from the US such as Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Denzel Curry and Childish Gambino.
However sound wise I am in a similar field to Saba, Kota The Friend and Loyle Carner
I specialise in the writing aspect of rap songs and i am on hand to assist anyone at any given time just drop me a message and i will go all out out to help whoever it is with there song or multiple songs.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My most recent singles Final Round (feat.Bknott) and Sheffield both are my favourite singles.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently 3 separate EP's
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will always do my best no matter what ill push at every moment. If there's something there i will find it.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The fact that my age means i cant write or have less experience then others.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My advice is come with an idea and a beat. I will write my heart out for you
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Audio Interface, Laptop , a database of millions of samples , midi keyboard and a CD player for all my CD's
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been writing and releasing music since i was 14. I started properly releasing on sound cloud and YouTube when i was 16 and i started dropping songs in 2020 on all platforms.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Chill and laid back but also strong with the delivery.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Kendrick Lamar. He is one of my biggest inspirations his story telling skills and the way he raps and writes is pure magic. Just being in the same room as him for me personally would be cool. So to work with him it would be. Magical.

A: Rap, Hip-hop, Lo-fi hip-hop and chill-hop

Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I am creative with my bars and punchlines. I always give 100% plus more no matter what.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Personally i will hear a beat and start writing or i will do it the other way round where i will have a song already written and start rapping over a beat and adjusting the structure as i go. It varies from song to song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I own a focus rite Scarlett Solo audio Interface. As well as a Ableton midi keyboard with the software.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I was heavily inspired by Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Dreamville , J cole as well as British artists such as Skepta and Dave.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I specialise in song writing within the Hip-Hop and Rap genre.
