Classically trained vocalist + musical theatre background = emotional, authentic performance.
I absolutely LOVE singing harmonies. I specialize in rock, pop and blues, can also sing country, EDM and R&B/Hip-Hop hooks. I've toplined in all of these genres and can add piano/keys to your music.

Great singer with a good voice. Altough I wasn't quite happy with the result because i felt it was a bit pitchy. But after a revision the results where better. Still not as good as I expected.. but maybe my expectations were set to high. We didn't reach a point were both of us was satisfied unfortunatly. Great communication, decent delivery time

This was the first time I have used Jules. She did a excellent job on a famous cover song by 4 non Blondes. She went the extra mile to make sure I was happy and I really appreciated it. Thanks again Jules!!

Jules is absolutely amazing. Easy to work with her.
Jules has an amazing voice, and brings so much energy to every song she records! She's a total professional, easy to work with, and communicative. I highly recommend her!
I've had the pleasure of working with Jules a handful of times as a mixing engineer for a few rock covers she was recording. She delivers everything on time and is a true professional! Very skilled vocalist and extremely nice, I enjoyed working with her and look forward to when we get to work together again!
I hired Jules to sing on an AC/DC cover as well as perform in the music video. She went above and beyond!! Not only did she deliver in a timely fashion, but she also provided multiple harmony tracks and three different music video takes. She was worth every penny and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
I produced a pop tune for an artist and we needed some piano laid down. Jules sent us tons of options (both WAV and MIDI versions) for parts and totally understood, and NAILED, the feel we were going for.
As a producer, I loved getting the MIDI files so I could tweak VIs if needed, and whenever someone sends me stereo audio files correctly (not mono/stereo files, if you know, you know...), I'm happy!
Jules was so awesome to work with! Will definitely be getting her on some other tracks!Jules played piano accompaniment for my upcoming single, and not only did she do a beautiful job, she provided me with several options and completed the project in a timely manner. She is pleasant, professional, and lovely to work with!
Jules is an incredibly skilled and versatile artist, musician and professional! I recently hired her to track piano/keys for my upcoming single. She sent me multiple style options to choose from and did it in a timely manner! She was extremely pleasant to work with, I absolutely loved her work and I look forward to working with her again in the future. Highly recommend!
Jules recorded vocals for me and really nailed it. It was exactly what I was looking for and them some. She has a killer rock and roll voice. Her tracks were recorded perfectly and she delivered them on time. Highly recommended.
Jules is amazing! She helped write a song for one of my clients. she had a super fast turn around on the song and listened carefully to what my client needed. I highly recommend her!
Jules did backing vocals for a song of mine. She was very quick and wanted to serve the song over her ego which I find to be one of the most important qualities in a musician. Hire her!
Interview with Jules Quaas
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: P!nk is a badass and knows exactly who she is. She gives 100% in every performance and has a killer voice.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Yes - ALWAYS check your gain level before you start recording!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, pop and country.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Definitely singing.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring raw powerful vocals for rock and emotional beauty for ballads. I write honest lyrics and catchy melodies with chords that are not always the traditional "four-chord" method.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to the song several times. I then make a mental plan of attack for which parts of the song I'm going to record first. If there are backing harmonies then I tackle those one at a time. I also hydrate my voice significantly the day before and the day of recording.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use Logic as my DAW. I have a Audio-Technica AT2020 condenser mic, Focusrite Scarlet Solo interface, and a pop filter.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm a huge fan of Freddie Mercury and his larger-than-life theatrical performances. I very much mirror my stage presence after him. I'm also a huge admirer of the queen Aretha Franklin and her ability to craft emotional bends and twists within every note. She touches your heart on the first note.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Session singer for lead and backing vocals.
