Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Timeless - Illusions of a Broken Mind (TheFishFactory, 2018) Mixing and Mastering Engineer, Producer, Cover Art, Songwriting, Lead Guitar...it's my baby. Tons of lovely work on this!!!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Start mixing, preparation...mold raw tracks to a powerful song, it's amazing!

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both of them, we need to take advantage of current era but we cannot forget qualities of analog stuff: warmth, colour.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll do my best...always!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Will it sound good? It will depend if it's well-played...I cannot do miracles!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I get too involved and I don't see the end of the job, possibly.

A: What do they need to feel?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If they give me a chance, they will be amazed what I can do without emptying their pockets...I've been in the other side too.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, little interface, instrument cable, my guitar and a good headphones :)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this for 20 years but always in parallel with my work as economist. It has not been until now when I have decided to share it with the world.

A: Clean and powerful

A: it's a difficult question...Conception would be a great achievement, it's a fetish band for me.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listen to your ear...it's your best tool.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Metal especially but I've worked in Flamenco-Pop, Rock, Hard Rock, Latin projects as well. I've also joined in several soundtracks.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Perfectionism and hard-working.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: In my opinion I try to understand the artist's goal in order to bring to the songs sense and coherence...make the feeling grow.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I have established my own 10-steps protocol which is my workflow ever: static mix - track references - Master Buss - Rythmic & Bass Section - Vocals - Guitars/Keys/... - FX's - Automation - Pre-Mastering.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually receive several tracks for mixing in order to get a good quality sound but most important...reach the musicality of its concept.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working in a new place for TimelesStudio, bigger and better! Pre-production of an Spanish Metal Band (I will be able to write the name in a while :P), I tech sound and musical production as well.
