I am a drummer that has recorded and/or toured with many artists such as Adrenaline Mob, Doro, Sugarmore, Stereo Satellite and more.
Hi. My name is Jordan Cannata. I have over 15 years of recording/touring experience. I have recorded albums/singles with artists such as Adrenaline Mob, Sugarmore, Stereo Satellite, Dummy and The Ventriloquist to name a few. With Adrenaline Mob, I recorded the "We The People" album which debuted at #2 on the iTunes Metal Chart and #12 on the iTunes Rock Chart.
Touring, I have had the pleasure of performing with the previously listed artists as well as Slaughter, Doro, VOX, and others. I have had the chance to see the world and open for artists such as Bon Jovi, Stone Sour, Seether, In This Moment, Twisted Sister, Living Colour, Joe Bonamassa, Queensryche, Scott Stapp (Creed), Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Saliva, Black Label Society, Blue Oyster Cult, Asia, Mountain, Skid Row, Yngwie Malmsteen, and countless others.
While most of my work has been rock sub-genres, I have recorded and am comfortable with all styles: rock, pop, metal, funk, blues, r&b, indie, etc.
My studio is fully equipped with the latest version of Pro Tools, a large mic collection, preamps, and a large sample library for programming loops. I have 4 DW Collector's Series drum sets for different needs, over 20 snare drums (various brands), various cymbals, cajons, specialty drums, and percussion instruments. You need it, I can provide it.

Jordan is a true professional. One of the best drummers that I've had the pleasure of working with. He knows what the song needs and he dials it right in.

Jordan just delivered the first of what is going to be an album's worth of drum tracks he'll be doing for my recording project. Not only is Jordan a KILLER drummer with groove and pocket for days, I found him super smart and easy to work with! He understood the sonics and sensibility we were looking for immediately. He then delivered great-sounding drum tracks very quickly. I look forward to working with him on more songs.
My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner!

Jordan made my dreams come true in about just 10 days, was very easy to work with, and laid down some drums that are totally kick@$$. I originally assembled drum loops to establish the feel I wanted, and Jordan recreated them faithfully where needed, added living variations and fills, and then in other parts created his own rhythms that fit well with the song and brought incredible energy to it. 10/10 would work with him again.

Interview with Jordan Cannata
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Drumming has been my greatest passion since I was 8 years old and that has never changed. So what do I love most? 2 things: 1-I get to spend my days drumming. 2-I love when a client feels like their vision has come to life. Music is all about feeling and connection. I love connecting and expressing myself with others through music so if I can help another musician express themselves and connect to other people as well...well there's nothing more gratifying than that.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I play for the song. If a song requires me to play incredibly simple parts, that's what I'll do. If it calls for a more bombastic approach, then I'll go that route. So the style varies based on the needs of the artist. I try to be chameleon and fit into whatever the scenario requires, whether it be very basic, incredibly complex, or somewhere in between.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I record everything with Pro Tools with a variety of microphones, preamps, plugins, and outboard equipment from companies such as AKG, Neumann, Sennheiser, Shure, Rode, Audix, Focusrite, Universal Audio, Grace, Lynx, Dangerous Music, Waves, McDSP, and more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly, I provide live drum tracks for clients, but I also program drum loops as well. I record out of my own studio using a large collection of drums, cymbals, and percussion to provide exactly the tonal quality that a song needs.
