I listen closely to make sure you end up with a product you love. I'm especially good at working with people who need assistance with editing, such as aligning instrumentation, tuning vocals, adding effects, and even adding backing vocals, before I start the mixing process, to give your song a more polished, professional sound.
I'm a lifelong acoustic singer-songwriter who quickly fell in love with music production while learning to record and produce my own artist material. I've now been working full time as an audio engineer and custom singer-songwriter for over 2 years.

on time, and in tune. no hassles.
She is a quick worker.
She works courteously.
I highly recommend!
Katie was a great choice for this project! She really knows what she is doing in her daw, and her vocal additions are fantastic! She is friendly, communicative, responsive, and multi-talented. She helped to lift my song to a new level and I am so appreciative I can't even explain it. Katie is a boss! Highly recommend with confidence.

She immediately & deeply grabbed what I wanted and made it happen.
Thank you Katie, I hope to work with you soon in the future project!
I’ve worked with Katie many times, as a coproducer and mixing engineer, to tune vocals, to co-write - she always brings her A game and so much creativity! 10/10 DO recommend!
Katie is a legend -- provided tons of harmonies and options, and everything was super organized. Obvi the performance was wonderful as well. Would work with again, A++

Katie is SO quick to get the project done. Another successful project! Thanks, Katie!
Katies turnaround was really impressive.
I hired Katie to vocal comp a track that I am working on and you can tell she spent the time to really delve into the vocal delivery and find where to move/tune/cut things etc.
I 1000% reccomend and will be hiring her again in the future.
Katie is FANFRIKINTASTIC!
Katie and I have worked together several times on a few songs and productions. She is really easy to communicate with, and she just gets it! She has an amazing sense of arrangement and her productions always sound polished and radio ready. Her singing voice is so beautiful and totally there for those singer/songwriter vibes. She is an excellent songwriter and producer, and will help transform your songs into what you want them to be. Will definitely be continuing to work with Katie!
Katie Dwyer is a mega talent and an absolute pleasure to work with. From top-lining to production and mixing! Katie plays multiple instruments including guitar, drums, ukulele and midi programming, has a keen ear for melodies, harmonies and lyrics. I can't say enough how easy Katie is to work with and how professional she is. Please hire her for your next project.
I met Katie during a very intensive music course and from the very start of the course to even now when it is over, she has been someone who selflessly offers suggestions and sets up auxiliary learning situations. She taught me all about Twitch and Discord and other things I would have no way of knowing about. Katie is a very fine singer, songwriter, drummer, and guitar and ukulele player, too, and I would not hesitate to have her work on one of my songs as a musician and/or an engineer. Give her a call and chat about your project! She will give you her all!
Katie Dwyer is an amazing and creative music producer and artist. I know because I've seen her making music for over a decade. And the music she made when I first met her was REALLY GOOD. And she's only gotten better. And on top of that she's kept learning and growing. She's flexible and patient and curious and produces music with passion. She not only mixes, but she sings and plays and is great at communicating, so you'll always know what's happening with your project. In short - work with Katie, you won't regret it and your project will be that more amazing for working with her.
I’ve had Katie Dwyer both feature on my music and mix/master an entire album and I am way satisfied. If your music needs love and your tryna get your sound right for a great cost. Hit her up! Music is changing and growing everyday and every second you waste thinking about it your missing out on great performing tracks with streams all the way to the Gulf stream waters
Interview with Katie Dwyer
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: It took a while for me to realize that music could be a career and didn't have to be a hobby.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is hearing. I can hear timing, pitch, and/or frequency issues easily, and I'm thankful for that.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Whoever you hire should pass your "vibe check." If something doesn't feel right, it's okay to look for someone else. Trust your gut.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: "Indiscreet" was my first self-produced EP, and I absolutely love how it turned out.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I work remotely with artists and clients from all over the world. I love that I can accomplish so much from the comfort of my own home studio.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Make and save your own presets within your favorite plugins.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The answer to this question varies greatly based on the project I'm given. For my own artist material, I write the song, record a scratch take to a click track, then begin recording all the other instrumentation. I carefully mix, master (or hire out a separate mastering engineer), create album art, and then upload my song to my distributor.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work using a custom built desktop computer, focusrite scarlet 4i4, Mogami cables, and usually (for vocals) my Baby Bottle large condenser microphone. I typically use my DT 770 Pro headphones for recording, and my 990s for careful mixing. I have a Gretsch Catalina club jazz drum kit behind me so that I can turn my chair and easily play a beat whenever I feel inspire to. I love my Gibson hummingbird acoustic guitar (my gig guitar), and gibson les paul, which I play through an Orange Crush amp. Internally, I use Ableton as my DAW, and I own a long, long list of plugins. Most of my favorites are by Valhalla and Izotope, and I try to keep them updated to the best, most recent version available. I use Melodyne 5 to fine tune vocals that are sent to me.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ritt Momney is inspiring to me because he is a self-producing artist that got very popular after working hard and building a team to push his artist career. I love that most of his material is focused on the message.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Vocal tuning, vocal processing, and Mixing
