Forian a 19 year old DJ and Producer based in Vienna, Austria. Over the last few years he was able to prove himself on some of austrias biggest stages. For example he played for the 25.000 visitors of the Beatpatrol Festival in St. Pölten alongside names like Robin Schulz, Steve Aoki, Brennan Heart, Dr. Peacock, Futurebound, Macky Gee and Ranji, opened the Mainstage of the Holi Festival in Innsbruck and closed the Mainstage of europe‘s biggest halloween party in front of 4.000 people. When he’s not DJing he spends most of his time producing his own music. Through his unique and versitile way of creating music he already landed several official remixes for international artists and his original tracks has
ve been streamed hundreds of thousands of times via Spotify, iTunes, SoundCloud and YouTube and even got suported on some of austrias top radio stations.
On the 7th of August Forian released his debut Album Departure in which he shows off his skills inside the Drum & Bass Genre.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: My 1st Album. I did everything except of mastering - I got a guy for that.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: My 2nd Album

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Digital. I can produce everywhere. I just need my laptop.

  7. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  8. A: It's not an art, it's jkust untalented people pushing buttons.

  9. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  10. A: What is your audience? Where is your audience? What are your goals with this project?

  11. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  12. A: Be specific about what you want. Send reference tracks, notes, goals and so on. but let the producer work, give him some space!

  13. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  14. A: My MacBook Pro, my headphones, my monitor speakers, my soundcard and my microphone.

  15. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  16. A: I've been doing this for 4 years now. I am a student at the SAE Institutions in Vienna, Austria where i learn everything that is to learn about music production and the music soc business.

  17. Q: How would you describe your style?

  18. A: Unique. I try to bring a bit of a more powerful feel to everything i work on.

  19. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  20. A: Camo & Krooked because everything they put out is very unique but extremely well thought through and obviously soo well produced.

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: The goal is to use the tools you have in a way they're not supposed to be used.

  23. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  24. A: Mainly EDM: Drum & Bass, House. Sometimes Hip Hop.

  25. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  26. A: I've got a strong sense of what can work and what can't. I produce according to this knowledge.

  28. A: I bring my own unique style and touch into every singe project i work on. That's what makes me special: I don't want to sound like anyone else, I want to be the guy all the beginners want to sound like!

  32. A: I Produce EDM Instrumentals & Hip Hop Beats. Also I love to remix all kinds of tracks into dope EDM bangers!
