Keys / Mixing / Production

I'm a keys player, engineer, and songwriter with 10+ years of experience performing, writing, and recording in many settings. I'm an extremely versatile multi-instrumentalist and producer with knowledge and proficiency in many styles, music theory, and technology that allows me to step into any project with a fresh and well-rounded perspective.

I graduated from Belmont University with a degree in piano performance and music technology. I have since continued doing session work and touring around the world playing keys and singing background vocals (including with dream pop artist Barrie). I have also continued to write, record, produce, and mix for my solo project (Bernie) as well as other local Los Angeles artists. I'm a proficient player in many styles including pop, indie, singer/songwriter, folk, rock, jazz, classical, and more.

I have a home studio which includes a vast collection of both modern and vintage instruments and recording gear. I am proficient in Logic Pro X and can turn around recording and editing work within 48 hours, and larger projects within a week.
