Hello new friend! I'm here to help you in creating hard hitting sounds to accentuate the emotion of your music.
I'm a Dutch sound engineer, based in Hilversum.
I started playing in bands when I was 13. This started me down the path that I'm currently still on of living and breathing nothing but music. I went to school for music, played in many more bands, and got interested in the recording side of things. I got the opportunity to learn that at Abbey Road Institute in Amsterdam.
Nowadays I am working as a freelancer audio engineer, primarily out of the legendary Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum. The studio is very versatile and well equipped, so I do most of my recordings here.
For me the most important things in any mix are depth and impact. For me this is where the emotion of music lives, whether its hard hitting 808's, ethereal strings, punchy snares, or an electrifying vocal, the emotion lives somewhere in the balance between these factors. I will move heaven and earth with the goal of creating depth and impact in your song.
My favourite genres of music to work in include rock music from indie to punk, metal and hardcore punk, as well as hiphop trap and drill
