I'm a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist with perfect pitch and I graduated from Abbey Road Institute with a distinction in production and engineering.

My perfect pitch allows me to learn songs very quickly combined with my 20+ years experience on guitar, bass, keys and vocals. I've provided instrumentation to songs by many artists including China Crisis, Gary Daly and Dargz. From my home studio, I have produced songs, soundscapes, soundtracks and sound-a-likes for clients like Right Angle Films, Gemfields and more. My speciality areas are dream pop, psychedelia, indie-rock, folk, britpop, electronica and Beatlesque music. I have also edited audio for podcasts.

Alongside music for others, my own psychedelic-pop project Novelty Island has released two albums, How Are You Coping With This Century? (2021) and Wallsend Weekend Television (2023) on vinyl, CD, cassette and digital through UK and USA labels. The albums were supported by BBC Radio 6, BBC Introducing, Absolute Radio, Mojo and Shindig! magazine and USA college radio. The live incarnation of Novelty Island has toured the UK supporting Sea Power, The Pale White and The Dream Machine and we’ve performed at Liverpool Sound City, Moseley Folk & Arts and Glastonbury festivals.

My earlier work saw me tour the UK supporting Squeeze, Glenn Tilbrook and C Duncan, perform at Green Man Festival and earn online endorsements from Hofner and Paul McCartney.
