Marc Guillermont

Guitarist / Composer

Marc Guillermont on SoundBetter

I've been playing guitar (on stage or in studio), & composing for 30 years. I recorded 5 albums under my name, and have been featured on some other artists projects, along side some of the greatest musicians (Randy Brecker, Bill Evans, Gary Husband, Hadrien Feraud, Nicolas Viccaro, Miles Bould, Ranjit Barot, Scott Henderson, John McLaughlin...

My history with music began when i was 5 years old, at the conservatory studying sax alto.
Around 12 i started learning guitar by myself, playing along LP's..And quickly i started to record ideas on a 4 track Fostex. I've never stop since then, and on top of being passionnate since the 1st second, i became also a gear tweaker. That means if you entrust me your project, i got all the tools, skills & experience to bring it to life. Furthermore, i'm an autodidact, which means i essentially will be attentive to what music is all about: sound, rythm, feeling, emotion, groove...etc..
I've worked in a wide range of styles over the years. From my tribute to Frank Zappa, to film music, Pop arrangements...
