I'll make your song sound good to more listeners.
My mastering room is equipped with a flat full range monitoring system fine tuned with AcouratePro's state of the art DRC, which ensures my work will translate well to consumer systems.
I have studied Audio Mastering Techniques at Berklee Online and I've been working with professional audio for the past eight years. Before I had my mastering room in witch I've been working for the past 3 years I have studied Fundamentals of Audio and Acoustics at IAV (SP), worked as a studio assistant in one of São Paulo's largest rehearsal/recording studios, then I moved on to being a freelance recording engineer in different studios and on locations.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Victor was very professional through the whole process. Having a great set up like the one he has, with Kii's for referencing in a flat well treated environment, just adds to his expertise in the best way.
The tracks I received were top quality. They were in the perfect RMS for the genre I asked for and all of them were very well tonal balanced.
Just great Mastering!
Greatly recommend Victor Varga!!! - check_circleVerified
Victor Varga is the Professional that I was looking for at SoundBetter. I needed to remaster two songs and he replied me at the same time, very friendly and made an excellent work. I recommend and I will probably start a new job with him soon
I've worked with Victor on a few projects and he always delivers great mixes and masters. He's also very receptive to our mix notes and delivers his work on time. Highly recommend!

Interview with Victor Varga
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My mastering room is a 6,5m long LEDE room with a flat full range monitoring system fine tuned with AcouratePro's FIR filters.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception about mastering is that many people still think it can be done at a high professional level with a mixing setup. A great mastering studio needs a monitoring system that is flat all across the spectrum (from 20 Hz to 20000 Hz), should not have reflective windows between the engineer and the speakers (like many tracking rooms do) for optimal stereo imaging and should not have a reflective surface in front of the engineer (mixing consoles or desks that are too close to the speakers, witch are almost always the case in a production room or a control room).
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started out as a studio assistant at Nimbus Studios (BR-SP) for a year and a half then I became a freelance recording engineer working at various studios and on locations. After 3 years as a freelance engineer I decided to migrate to post production only, studied Audio Mastering Techniques at Berklee Online and set up my mastering studio.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you have reference tracks of the same genre that were used during the production/mixing stages I'd like to listem to them as well.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Understanding the artist's vision along with genre specifications.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: When I'm mastering in my studio, my flat and full rage monitoring system (speakers/acoustics) will garantee that the final product will sound good on every type of consumer systems, from earbuds to large PA systems.
