Hi!
I am a songwriter/singer from London and would love to connect with producers or aspiring producers who are looking to make songs from scratch in their studios. I am keen on acquiring studio session experience and working with different artists or even different songwriters, to collab with on projects.
Alternatively, I have have a bunch of songs that I would love to work on with the correct producer, to perhaps make demos or just bounce off ideas to create more. I am happy to send some of my demos if you get in touch with me :)
I am ultimately looking to make connections and make friends with creative individuals to help each other with our artwork.
Hope you are having a lovely day and excited to hear from you guys :)
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.
Interview with Kush
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I am new to this. I am new to this but feel like I have always been writing
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Some would say pop, others would say alternative. Sad, dark, ballady, upbeat depending on the song track. Nevertheless cannot pinpoint my style because I like writing what I feel when I feel it. There is a bit of every style from all the artist that inspire me.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I have a list of people I would love to collaborate with on my phone. Definitely with the artists I have mentioned above who inspire me and many many more.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I tend to work on sad stuff usually which is pop orientated. Most of todays hits are all about the expression of one's vulnerability be it loneliness, heart break, or falling in love. I love writing about things I would not dare to say to people in an everyday conversation. I like writing lyrics that are so obvious that when people hear them, they can all relate to it.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Coming up with melodies, Lyrics and Improvisation.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Emotion. This is why I love songwriting because you can express multitude arrays of emotion with a single word or phrase. That is the power of music I suppose.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually recording melodies first and then writing lyrics follow, or the other way round. Mostly I write what I feel in the moment.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a condensor mic, a midi, an interface and an electric guitar.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia album because of the music production and catchy melodies in it. Taylor swifts Folklore, but her in general because she is a talented songwriter. Julia Michaels Inner Monologue albums because of her ability to capture emotion in both her voice and songwriting. Sia, she is fantastic as a singer and songwriter. Sam Smith because he writes super catchy pop ballads. Love Ariana Grande's music production team. The works of IIya, Max Martin snd Savan Kotecha are amazing. Victoria Monet and her songwriting skills are dope. Love Love Love Billy Eilish and Finneas! Brandi Carlile - AMAZING songwriter and singer!
