I have worked in the music and sound industries my entire adult working life. Whether that be in front of 25k audiences as a FOH engineer or inside some the UK's best recording studios as an executive producer and mix engineer. Along with these roles I'm also a composer, musician (Drums, Tuba and Keys/Samplers), mix engineer, mastering engineer and remix artist.
In recent years I have settled in the countryside and built my own custom made mixing and vocal production suite. It consists of an acoustically treated mixing and production room and a separate room including an isolation chamber for close mic and ASMR style recordings, along with a live streaming capabilities.
My passion is detail and making sure my output represents the clients needs of the their project. Over the last 20 years I have worked with literally hundreds of bands, solo artists, singers and musicians. This work has spanned across many genres and sounds and has taught me so much about the unique disciplines / rules each genre has.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If you're putting a vocal on a track I always feel it's very important that you hear all the words and can understand them, otherwise why have you put a vocal on a track?
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work across many genres and have always been a multi-genre producer. Over the last 20 years I've been fortunate to work with literally hundreds of bands, singers and other producers/artists.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Having been a musician in my may roles as a songwriter I've got the natural rhythm and understand the necessity for the human feel in music recording and production.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm using a 50/50 analogue/digital setup and love using the best of both worlds.
