I am a mixing engineer who loves to find underground artists to work with. If you have the talent to be a successful artist, why let it go to waste with a bad mix. I am currently a senior studying at Middle Tennessee State University to further develop my craft in audio engineering. I have over 1M streams in total of songs that I have mixed.
I offer mixing and mastering services at fair prices. I will do both two tracks and stems. I have been producing for about 8 years and I have been mixing and mastering for about 6 years now. Now a little bit about my mixing, I mix to YOUR style. If you want your vocals to be a bit warmer and darker, I will do that. I have my style of mixing but I also want to adapt to what you want from your mix as the artist. I believe the creative relationship between the engineer, artist, and producer is crucial in making not only a good mix, but an amazing song.

Endorse Jayden GilesHad my first session with Jayden about a month ago, extremely productive and the mix came out phenomenal.
Jayden is an extremely well-rounded, multi-faceted, mixing engineer and producer. As one of his artists, I strive to get to the level that he is at, and the crazy thing is that he is only getting better. Most importantly he is a great guy to be around and very easy to work with. You will not be disappointed when booking Jayden!
Jayden's been my personal engineer for over a year now and he has helped me make my music sound professional.
Interview with Jayden Giles
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I've worked with both. Analog is amazing and nothing can really beat its sound, however, digital is much easier to use practically (portable, faster, etc).
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Listening to music all the time!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What sound are you looking for?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Talk to me! I want my clients to communicate with me as much as possible. I think large amounts of communication can only benefit the projects me and my clients work on.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Mac Studio with every plugin (not cheating technically), ATC's setup in Atmos, Pro Tools HDX, Vintage Telefunken 251, and a Distressor.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started in my bedroom producing music in middle school and as soon as I hit high school I knew I wanted to go to school for audio. I enrolled in MTSU's Audio program and I've been learning so much. I am just about to start my last semester so I will be graduating soon. While attending, I have met and mixed for tons of different people, worked in and learned in million-dollar studios, and made lots of connections. After graduating, I will have been mixing for about 6 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Big drums, clean vocals, nasty bass.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: This is a left-field pick but Ben l'Oncle Soul. His voice is just so beautiful. If you don't know his music, I recommend checking him out!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be Unique and Break Rules!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I would say making the artists' vision come to life in the mix.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Whatever the artist needs with an addition of my creative mixing touch.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is located at Diamond Sound Studios in Nashville, TN. I have my Mac running through an SSL Big Six board going into some Barefoot Footprint 03 monitors. The sound of these monitors will blow your mind.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I've always looked up to Alex Tumay as an engineer. I think his work speaks for itself. Not only do his mixes sound absolutely incredible, his opinions about the music industry and how the industry should change for the better really inspire me.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I talk to my artists about their songs and how they want it mixed. After figuring out their goals with their song, to the best of my abilities, I mix their song as perfectly as I can.
