“Mixing is all about creating art out of technology.” - David Gibson.
From the early years of my life I was fascinated by music. At age six, I started to explore the musical world, listening to records by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Grateful Dead, Eurythmics, among many others. Inspired by Sgt. Pepper (The Beatles) and The Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd), I began my music adventure at the age of seven. I came to admire the beauty of classical music studies when I took up violin and piano lessons. Through my studies, I gained a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of musical arrangements, the hidden, nearly imperceptible subtleties that can change the character of a composition. From playing in the school ensemble, I became deeply aware of the interconnected nature of the instruments involved, how each one could stand on its own, but react spectacularly when played alongside others. This education has since left a profound and permanent impression on my understanding of music and how it is being perceived by the listeners. As I worked on my own musical pursuits, I began to feel the need to help other artists realize their ideas and goals.
