Through communication and experimentation, my main goal is to fulfil your creative vision with my own personal touch!
I'm working primarily as a music producer and mixing engineer. Doing this, I’ve had the blessing of meeting several creative and inspiring people that, like me, always strive for creating something as beautiful and engaging as possible. Naturally, I want to continue working on new projects, meet new people and continue to learn and grow from it. So, if you need any help with your creative project (at whatever stage you’re at) or just want to have a talk, let me know and I will contribute in any way I can!
I mostly find myself working with Pop, Hip Hop, Soul and Jazz. However, I love working with all kinds of music and I've learned that great new ideas will appear when trying something new!

Been a pleasure working with Jakob. Always easy to communicate with and comes with great input and inspiring ideas :)
Jakob has been a part of my latest projects as both recording-, mixing- and mastering engineer. I couldn't be happier with the result and he makes sure that it sounds exactly as I want it. I will try to get Jakob involved in most of my future projects!
Working with Jakob was a pleasure! His musical knowledge is second to none.
Interview with Jakob Erlandson
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't think too much until you have a skeleton of your idea. Just do stuff and have fun with it!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I've worked equally much with electronic and recorded music. Usually I try to make these two worlds meet on songs I'm working on.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm determined to find the best way to present a song no matter the work load. Therefore, I'm not afraid to restart a mix completely to meet my own and my clients expectations.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to make songs sound real and breathing in a way. For me, this involves creating a depth and a grittiness to the songs I'm working on.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When writing and producing, two brains often works better than one (in my opinion). Therefore I wan't to involve other people as much as possible in this stage. Mixing, on the other hand, I like to do by my self until reaching a certain point of the process. When I have the foundation of the mix ready, it's nice to have everybody els involved as well.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mostly mix in the box. But I do use a few pieces of analog processers and synthesizers from time to time.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Often, I like the combination electronic production with some gritty recorded instruments. That's the best of both worlds!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm usually doing production and/ or mixing.
