Nick is one of my first calls for drums! When I want to have drums impeccably recorded with precision and soul… He’s one of my first thoughts. His catalog of music and knowledge for the industry makes him extremely well rounded and versatile. He’s worked with me on a few projects and he never misses. I don’t have to worry about alot of back and forth on ideas or takes. He always seems to nail the performance and understands my concepts. Hire him for your next project! You won’t be disappointed.

It was such a pleasure to work with Nick, he came highly recommended by two fellow musicians and he delivered above and beyond my expectations. I’m a singer songwriter and Nick added drums on two of my songs for my debut full length album and he was so easy to work with—great communication and such a fast turnaround! Plus he was endlessly patient with my ‘I’m not really sure how to explain what I want’ thing, and then when he sent me his first pass it was like he had been in my head and knew exactly what I wanted the whole time. And, of course, everything sounded amazing!

Nick is my go to for everything drums, my first call for all of my clients because of his natural ability to frame a song is unmatched. I may use different bass players, guitarists or keys players depending on style of track, but I always know Nick is going to grove well with whomever he is working with. And almost always each of the other players on the session comments how great a musician he is. He's fast, reliable, and the sounds he gets are incredible. You will not be disappointed. Get in with him now, before he gets too big for any of us to work with him anymore. Seriously, hire him!

Nick is a boss!! I threw some long and challenging tunes at him, and he took them up a notch. He inspired my playing and ultimately brought the material to life in a way that exceeded my expectations. His treated drum stems sounded GREAT and super easy for the engineer to work with. Nick is my goto for professional drum tracks with a fast turnaround time.

It was a pleasure working with Nick! I loved his interpretation of my songs. I got several takes for each one and everything he played was pretty much exactly what the song called for. The sounds were great too! Tracks reasonably priced with a super quick turnaround. Highly recommended.

Interview with Nick D'Errico

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: Loop library and samples for some artists I work with.

  3. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  4. A: yes.

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: That they'll walk away happy!

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: Creating something new everyday!

  9. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  10. A: Be open.

  11. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  12. A: Usually Singer-Songwriter stuff. Mostly with a soul/groove based undertone.

  13. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  14. A: Listening!

  15. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  16. A: I think I offer a lot of flexibility whether it has to do with communication or giving a variety of ideas to the artist to choose from if they dont have a specific thing in mind.

  17. Q: What's your typical work process?

  18. A: I like to listen to the song in my studio while deciding on the drums and sounds i should be using. Then I'll start to setup while listening and preparing for the session as far as microphone setup unless the artist has a specific set up in mind.

  19. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  20. A: too much to type...

  21. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  22. A: It's definitely a broad range. I do a lot of demo work for singer-songwriters and then randomly switch gears to do something more pop/electronic based. I love the challenge of changing genres all in the same room on the same day!
