Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I remixed two songs for the legendary Norwegian Black Metal band Arcturus in 2015. They are in an ambient/electronic style, and are featured on the bonus disc of their 2015 album, "Arcturian".
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing in bands for over 15 years, touring the world numerous times. I've been working as a session musician for over 10 years, and have been engineering and mixing music on a professional scale since 2013.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Jean Michel Jarre - an absolute pioneer and icon of electronic music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: At the end of the day, always trust your ears - if it sounds good, it is good.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on everything from J-Pop and K-Pop to Black Metal!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Mixing music, arranging music, session drumming.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I can bring as little or as much as you like. If you'd like me to just mix, clean up tracks, tune vocals, etc or even up to sending me rough ideas which I'll recreate on real instruments. I'm happy to play as small or large role as the client wishes.
