I've been writing songs and poetry all my life - After school I studied Artist Development for a year in London, followed by BA Songwriting degree at ICMP where I graduated with a first! I'm the lead singer/songwriter in an up and coming Indie Pop band 'The Valla', and I write with other artists on a regular basis.

I've always been proud of my ear for writing catchy melodies, hooks and ability to write and construct original pop music! Through my passion and education for Songwriting, I've learned to treat songwriting with the respect it deserves. After years of beating my head against the wall, attending hundreds of songwriting workshops, and writing thousands of songs, I've developed a simple method/formula that I use to write and re-draft good songs day after day!

I particularly enjoy writing Indie-Pop-Rock music, but I have a great deal of experience and writing folk, pop, Americana and chill music! Day to day I'm used to writing songs to particular briefs for individual artists or certain projects, so I have a lot of experience working with different references and styles.
