Producer and DJ

A native of Puebla, México. Arturo Lima is an independent DJ and music producer with a career spanning over 40 years in the Mexican scene. Clubs from the 80s and 90s, radio, and international festivals are part of his trajectory within the contemporary music industry.

He has performed at important festivals such as Electronic Fest Mexico 2016 and Daydream Mexico 2016, Medusa Festival 2018, Kick of Love Festival 201. He has also opened presentations for figures like Paul Oakenfold Mexico 2015, Nervo and R3hab Mexico 2016, and INNA Mexico 2016. Always within the Dance scene, his style oscillates between Nu Disco, House, and Electro. In his live performances, creative fusions of Rock with Dance can be heard, emerging from the heat of the moment through the improvisation of his Live Act.
Starting in 2011, he decided to transmit his experience to new generations by collaborating on different projects for the professionalization of DJs and Producers. He first studied at Berklee College of Music and then at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, which earned him recognition from the Technology Institute for Music Educators. He is a member of the International Society for Music Education, the Audio Engineering Society, and the Music Producers Guild in England. Currently, he collaborates on an educational program with Alan Parsons to prepare new generations of electronic music producers in Latin America. For Arturo Lima, transmitting all the knowledge acquired over so many years to new generations is his second passion after music.
