I'm a queer, biracial indie artist from Michigan looking to amplify underrepresented voices through music. I'm still new to the music world, but that means I have time to make lasting and meaningful relationships with collaborators and can afford to work for amateur prices. Authenticity is the most important quality to me.
I can record vocals as well as basic ukulele, percussion, and piano; collaborate on lyrics and melody structures; produce instrumentals and manipulate recorded audio on Logic Pro X; mix tracks and develop new tracks building off of those ideas; and master mixes so they're ready for streaming.
Currently, I'm self-producing music of my own and collaborating with my friend Ben Flotemersch in an indie duo called Moonie. Most of my own music is more synthy with pop, rock, and alt influences, while Moonie's music is more acoustic and has folk and singer/songwriter influences, so I can work with both kinds of target sounds.
I also have experience editing podcasts for my college's improv comedy team, so I can contribute to dialogue-based projects or music projects that sample spoken word. For both that series and a friend's short film, I've created background music, so I can also provide full instrumental scoring.
All prices are negotiable, and honestly, as I'm just started out, I'm willing to work for less than the professional rate in exchange for a new connection and some wider exposure. I hope that I can help other artists who are just starting out, so that with your limited budget, you might be able to hire someone (me) who is on the same page as you.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.
