He started recording, mixing, and mastering various bands and other musical groups - rock bands, folk bands, vocal jazz ensembles, and more. It's a craft he's continually improving.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Hybrid! Using outboard gear as hardware inserts gets you the best of both worlds.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I always start by trying to balance and pan the mix to get a sense of the song itself before touching an EQ or Compressor. Depending on the genre and style, I then begin treating the elements that are going to need to stand out the most like the kick, snare, bass, and vocal.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing and Mastering Indie/Pop/Rock music
