LIQUID AETHER Audio... ...putting life back into Extreme Metal!!!

Founded in 2001, LIQUID AETHER Audio is a full-time recording studio for Extreme Metal Genres, located in the hinterland of Cologne, Bonn, Düren and Euskirchen, approx. 15 minutes from the highway A1 (Wisskirchen exit).

LIQUID AETHER Audio works with high-quality analog equipment from AMEK and NEVE, among others, as well as the latest recording and mixing software from HARRISON, SOLID STATE LOGIC and AVID, taking into account the unique character of each instrument and musician.

Over the years, this resulted in a specialization in productions that sound natural but still correspond to the respective genre in the several styles of Extreme Metal, e.g. Black Metal, Death Metal, Grindcore, Crust and Hardcore.

Customers (bands): BELTEZ, DAUTHUZ, NO SHELTER, DODENKROCHT, FERRITERIUM, SUMERIAN TOMBS, SACRILEGIOUS RITE, NEW WORLD DEPRESSION among others...

The LAA Studio is located in a calm and inspiring area near Cologne.
Its sound is somehow leant to the classic hard rock and heavy metal tones. focused, rudimental but simultaneously unique.
Owner and Engineer Mr. Dahmen is hard working and knows how to achieve a modern huge and punchy drum sound. Rooms and atmosphere are functional but homely.
