Maker of Music and Sound. I’ve worked in documentary film, podcasts, theater, and in recording studios producing, engineering, mixing, and playing drums for over fifteen years. I love working with singer-songwriters to develop their tunes, and would love to help you with your songs, from wherever you are in your process: conceptualizing, recording, or post-production mixing.
I enjoy mixing and editing projects, and I love scoring for film, television, commercials, journalism, and podcasts. I’ve been a drummer and percussionist my whole life. I started out as a sound designer and composer for live theater, and bring those skills to podcasts and video-based projects too.
2017 alum of the Sundance Institute Sound Designer and Composer Lab for Documentary Film at Skywalker Ranch, and an Obie Award-winning composer and designer. Projects include: Ottolenghi and the Cakes of Versailles (2020 Tribeca Film Festival), District 15 (2020 Patagonia.com), Inside Rudy Giuliani’s Mission for Trump in the Ukraine (2020 The Washington Post), When We Walk (2019 Hot Docs), Pathways to Power (2019 The Washington Post), Epic Extras (2019 Major League Baseball), The Spectacular Rise and Fall of Paul Manafort (2018 The Washington Post), Awake: A Dream From Standing Rock (2017 Tribeca Film Festival), City of Gold (2015 Sundance), And, Apart (2016 Golden Door International Film Festival).
