Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My cousin created a documentary and wanted me to write, produce, record music for the film. I had 7 days to complete it. It's been featured in film festivals and won awards. I had never done anything for film and never had to produce 7 tracks in such a short amount of time.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on a smooth jazz project (jazzimatronX) and a vocal project (robbie)

A: I'm new to this platform and haven't had the chance to look around.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Having worked with both, they both have advantages

A: I will listen so that WE can get it done.

A: there's a feeling of accomplishment that's unmatched!

A: How do you do it? I listen.

A: I'm an ol' school creative. I create and put my energy into efforts that intend to last-forever
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: if there's electricity, my computer, my Komplete controller, mic. If there's no electricity, drums and my phone and a solar charger
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been singing forever. I had a big break in 90's as an artist (Robbie Mychals) where I got the chance to work with and just sit and listen to many of the legendary writers and musicians associated with the "Philly Sound"
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Eclectic
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Anyone with a passion to create something authentic!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I found my biggest production tip would be to continually to learn
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I'm an eclectic artist. what I create is a combination of R&B, Jazz and Gospel. I listen to EVERYTHING.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocals and drums
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I think, like any creative person I bring my level of passion based on life experiences and a unique perspective. I think that's what makes it authentic.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I can usually hear a melody or chord progression from just going about my day, after that I put my head down and I'm off...
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I think my set up is fairly simple. Logic Pro, Reason and Maschine are my DAWs of choice. I have several Waves plugins, and work off a Nektar Panorama P6 and a AKG C414 for vocals
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau, Donny Hathaway and any other person who dares to be creative

A: The most common would be vocal work
