This has proven to be Cas's favourite of all of the songs we've written and I must confess that although I initially preferred some of the others, it's really grown on me in recent weeks and I now appreciate what a classy song this is - a great marriage of vocals, melody and rich instrumentation. It's always a pleasure working with Cas.

This was a different style to our other collaborations, but has still turned out beautifully and I'm really excited to hear how it sounds once Cas's silky vocals are recorded over the top. Clear instructions from Cas as always, and efficient feedback make this process a dream to work through.

Another wonderful collaboration with Cas - I'm excited to see this fantastic album come to life, but will also be disappointed that we won't be writing together. Cas has a clear vision and sets this out with fragments of ideas and lyrical ideas, allowing me the freedom to create within this vision. It's enjoyable, stress free, and every song we've created so far has gone beyond my expectations. Strongly recommended.

It was a pleasure learning about such an intensely personal aspect of Cas's life before starting work on this song and I think that it's been worth the extra miles we went with it. It's sad but beautiful and a piece we can be truly proud of. As ever, Cas shares his vision clearly but is also open to external suggestions which is vital in a positive collaboration like this. I look forward to more work together very soon.
