A: I am extremely proud of my work on the 2016 release "Undone" with Desmeon, which has reached over 13 million views on YouTube. My role involved writing and performing the vocals. Seeing a song I helped create resonate with that many people globally is an incredible feeling and a huge milestone. However, the truth is that I am equally proud of every single project I do with my clients. Whether it’s a high-profile release or an independent producer’s debut track, I approach it with the exact same dedication. My real pride comes from the collaborative process itself—taking a producer's instrumental, locking in the perfect vocal arrangement, and turning it into a finished, release-ready record.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Right now, I am finalizing a brand new solo release for streaming platforms and deep in the studio producing high-end vocal sample packs. Returning to my solo project keeps my songwriting sharp and my ear tuned to current industry trends. At the same time, designing and recording custom vocal packs allows me to experiment with new vocal chains, unique rhythmic phrasing, and heavy electronic sound design. Everything I learn and test in my solo work and sample pack production immediately translates into the top-tier quality I bring to your tracks.

A: A true hybrid approach. It gives you the absolute best of both worlds. I rely on analog gear for the raw "magic of electricity." Tracking a vocal through a high-end analog chain (like a classic 1073-style preamp) imparts a physical weight, harmonic warmth, and natural saturation that is impossible to fully replicate in the box. It gives the sound its soul. But once that magic is captured, I switch entirely to digital. I love the digital domain for its absolute precision and zero signal degradation. A: The moment of transformation. Whether I am writing a topline or diving deep into vocal editing, I live for the 'before and after' magic. When I write a topline, I love the feeling of taking a raw instrumental and giving it a soul, a voice, and a hook that gets stuck in your head. When I am editing and mixing, there is nothing more satisfying than taking a raw, unpolished vocal take and meticulously crafting it into a massive, tight, larger-than-life instrument that drives the groove of a dense EDM track. Ultimately, I love that I get to spend every single day living exactly at the intersection of raw musical creativity and surgical audio engineering.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: "Can I just send you the files and let you do your thing?" Honestly, my clients rarely ask a lot of technical questions. Most of them are busy producers who just want a turnkey solution. They hand over their instrumental or raw stems, completely trust my taste and experience, and let me handle the entire vocal production from A to Z. My answer is always: "Absolutely. Send the files, tell me the vibe, and I will take care of the rest." They know that when I deliver the final WAV stems, the vocals will be massive, perfectly in the pocket, and ready to drop straight into the final mix.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: The biggest misconception is that vocal tuning and editing is a "magic button" or a single plugin you just drop onto a track. Many people assume you can just slap Auto-Tune on a raw vocal and it instantly becomes a radio-ready pop hit. In reality, world-class vocal production is a highly surgical, manual process. To get that massive, upfront sound that cuts through a heavy EDM mix without sounding lifeless, I go in word-by-word—manually adjusting pitch drift, transitions, and micro-timing so it locks into the pocket. The same misconception applies to toplining: people think it’s just about having a good voice. But in EDM and Pop, it’s really about rhythmic phrasing. A great topline acts as an additional instrument that locks perfectly with your bassline and drums to drive the groove of the entire track.

A: 1. What are your reference tracks? Please share 1-2 songs that capture the exact vocal energy, tone, or tuning style you are aiming for. 2. What is the exact BPM and key of the instrumental? 3. For Toplines: Do you have a specific lyrical theme or melody idea in mind, or should I write the hook completely from scratch? 4. For Tuning/Editing: Are your raw vocal stems completely dry (no baked-in reverb or compression) and consolidated to start exactly at 0:00? Getting these answers upfront guarantees that my first draft is already perfectly aligned with your vision, saving us time and keeping the creative momentum high.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Communication and preparation are everything. First, always provide reference tracks. Describing sound with words is incredibly difficult, but sending a link to a song and saying, "I want the vocal energy of this track and the tuning style of that track," saves hours of guesswork and aligns our visions immediately. Second, prep your files properly. If you are sending raw vocals for me to tune and mix, please provide dry WAV stems (no reverb, delay, or heavy compression applied), consolidate all tracks to start exactly at 0:00, and always include the project BPM. Finally, be completely honest with your feedback. My ego is not tied to the first draft. My only goal is to serve your song and make sure you are 100% thrilled with the final result.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: A fully loaded MacBook Pro (with Logic Pro and all my vocal chains) – The brain of the operation. Neumann U87 Ai – Because if I am recording vocals on a beach, I still want that pristine, expensive Pop/EDM air. A classic 1073-style preamp – To inject that massive analog warmth and grit into every signal. Yamaha NS-10M Studio monitors – If my island mix sounds punchy and translates on these, it will sound good anywhere in the world. My acoustic guitar – Because before a track becomes a heavy EDM banger, every great topline usually starts with just a simple vocal melody and a few chords on the guitar.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: My journey in vocal production started back in 2011. Over the past 15 years, my entire career has been dedicated to mastering the art of the vocal. I have collaborated with EDM artists, DJs, and electronic music producers from all over the world. Early on, I realized that an incredible track can easily fall flat if the vocal isn't treated perfectly. That realization pushed me to master both sides of the process. I didn't just want to be the artist writing and singing the toplines; I wanted to be the engineer who tunes, edits, and mixes them to an elite standard. Vocals are my absolute forte. I’ve spent over a decade ensuring that every vocal part I touch—whether it's my own performance or a client's raw recording—sounds massive and release-ready.

A: My style is the intersection of raw human emotion and surgical electronic precision. As a vocalist and topliner, my style is edgy, anthemic, and dynamic. A: I would absolutely love to work with Sia, or producers who share her approach to songwriting. That contrast—blending emotional, gritty vocals with heavy electronic production—is exactly what I strive for in my own toplines. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: When stacking background vocals and double-tracks, never time-align them 100% perfectly to the lead. If you quantize every single layer to the exact millisecond, the waveforms will phase-cancel. Your massive vocal stack will actually shrink and sound thin, robotic, and flat. Always leave a natural 5–15 millisecond variance between your layers. That microscopic human imperfection is exactly what creates that wide, expensive, larger-than-life chorus effect.

A: My sweet spot lies in high-energy genres that demand massive, upfront vocals—such as Tech House, Drum & Bass, Slap House, Melodic Techno, and Future Bass. Because of my love for alternative rock, I also thrive on projects that require a bit more grit, edge, and emotional depth. A: My studio is a meticulously calibrated environment (tuned via Room EQ Wizard) built specifically for pristine vocal tracking and highly accurate mixing. The Vocal Chain: I capture vocals using industry-standard microphones—typically a Neumann U87 Ai for that bright, modern Pop/EDM air, or a Shure SM7B when a track requires a tighter, more aggressive edge. The signal runs through a classic 1073-style preamp to add analog warmth and weight before hitting the AD/DA converters. This ensures the raw stems I deliver are already massive and mix-ready. Monitoring & Routing: I use a Behringer WING Rack for zero-latency, transparent signal routing. My monitoring setup is unforgiving by design: I rely on Yamaha MSP7s for surgical, full-range detail, and the legendary Yamaha NS-10M Studio monitors (driven by a premium Michi X3 Series 2 amplifier) to guarantee the midrange punch translates perfectly to any club system or streaming platform.
