Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: 1. What other artists do you consider yourself similar to? 2. Can you play to a metronome? 3. How would you like to record? (Multi-track? Live off the floor?)
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Send me lyric sheets, phone demos and lots of reference material.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: 1. Any humbucking guitar with an Evertune bridge installed 2. Shure SM7B 3. A small set of speakers 4. P-Bass
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Two decades of serving my local music scene, with a few more notable highlights sprinkled in.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Whoever has a good song and can perform it.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Coaching artists through vocal arrangements and harmonies.

A: Whatever the client needs

A: Both cause I have them and appreciate what they both bring.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listen quietly. Your ears will tire out less and listening loudly can really throw your perception out of whack.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Punk & Metal and their respective subgenres
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My setup is built around an API Box 8 Analog Console with Barefoot Monitoring and outboard from SSL, API, Chandler and plenty of other high end options.

A: Chris Lord Alge, Neal Avron, Kurt Ballou, Andy Wallace
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Multi-track recording, editing, mixing predominantly in punk, metal and loud genres.
