Interview with MultiDimensional Sounds

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I am very proud of my song "Via Crucis" that I have yet to release on major platforms. I wrote those lyrics at a time in which I was profoundly healing and growing, yet couldn't handle the pressure of it and made unhealthy decisions - hurting those around me. I made the beat, wrote the lyrics, performed the vocals, and was then involved in the mixing and mastering process.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Loving my Self and Others. Musically - my first album and various projects.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Not yet, but I will when I find one.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, because that's how I came up.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I give you my All.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Inspiring others and creating in my zone.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: It's generally about pricing & I always just talk it out with them.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: I don't really bother worrying about what other's may think of me.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What's your creative process? Why do you do what you do?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Trust your gut, your emotions, and your natural instinct when picking a creative partner.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Laptop, Headphones, Charger, Water Bottle, & Almonds

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I've been producing for 4 years. Started off rough - mainly mimicking other artists, and now I'm confident in my own sound.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I'm laid-back but passionate. Divinely inspired, mainly sample based Hip-Hop with a hint of experimental form.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I'd love to work with Little Dragon, J. Cole, and Jorja Smith due to their seemingly high passion for creating quality.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Channel the inspiration from your heart, from the fire in the center of your soul. Then, follow the laws of sound.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Hip-Hop & Alternative / Experimental Hip Hop and R & B.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Beat making and lyrics.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring love. I bring heart. I bring divine inspiration. I bring an energy of passion - a violet flame inducing creativity and inspiration.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Feel inspiration, blaze up (or vice versa), lay down some drums and bass, then go to work. For lyrics, they suddenly come after listening to a song a bit. Sometimes it's instant, sometimes it takes time.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I work from Logic Pro X.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Jimi Hendrix, Tool, Bob Marley, J Dilla, J. Cole, Kid Cudi, Little Dragon, OutKast, The Mars Volta, Flatbush Zombies

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
