J. Hall on SoundBetter

Together we dream bigger. credits include: Story of the Year, Mat Kearney, Mae

I've been in professional recording studio production for over 20 years. Currently based in Nashville, TN. I've built my career on the idea of collaboration, and partnership. As a Mixer/Producer, I believe that the project is ultimately yours, I just get to help exceed your expectations. Separate we dream small, together we dream big.

I like to think outside the box. I enjoy collaborating, and having each project I do sound unique to the artist. Music is art. Art is hard. We have to try harder.

Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

This was our first time tracking our own session and hiring a professional to mix it. J. came recommended from one of my friends, and I'll say, he did not disappoint. We had a few rookie hiccups along the way but J. was patient with us, quick turnaround, and an amazing result. If you are looking for someone to mix a track to a high standard J. is your guy.

No one I’ve ever met cares for the details more. My first call on all projects. Baddest mixer around.

Fact: your project WILL be better for having J involved. He's the one call I know I can make to make a record better...instantly.
J's mixes are truly unbeatable. I've been a music pro in Nashville for 14 years and worked with so many of the best, and I'd rather trust a mix to J's ears than anyone else's.
As a producer, J has a way of pulling the best out of everyone involved. He can lift the vibe, the performances, and the arrangements of a project through the roof, while preserving the band/client's vision. Making a record with J. Hall at the helm is how music creation was meant to feel.

Producer/Mixer doesn’t even scratch the surface of how I’d describe what J Hall does. His unique approach to every aspect of his craft is both refreshing and inspiring. Having worked closely with J in the past, I can confidently say that his professionalism, efficiency, and dedication to the finished product are unmatched. If you’re looking for something to make your next project stand out from the crowd, your search begins and ends with the J Hall signature sound.

J.'s one of the most musical and skilled producers/mixers I've had the pleasure of working with. Passing up the opportunity to work with him would be a huge regret. Hire him!
