Forrest Lee Jr is an American artist, writer session guitarist with 25 years of Nashville studio production.
With countless songs in film and TV you have no doubt heard his music.
As well as his session work, Forrest played in the Don Kelley Band quite often in the mid 1990s, the springboard band for many well known guitarists. 30 plus years of touring experience with countless major label artists, and producing artists from all over the world.
Forrest has honed his production skills from many years of recording in studios such as The Soundshop, 16 Ton, Quad, Lightman, Dark Horse, The Cash Cabin (Johnny Cash), and Forrest co managed Loretta Lynn's Coal Miner's Daughter studio for 8 years. He has done session work in many more studios around the Nashville, TN area.
Forrest's first international charting song was recorded at Bullfrog studios, Vancouver BC, Canada. Released in Canada, Europe and the UK. With a 1.5 year US and Canadian tour to follow.
In addition to music production, and film and television music, Forrest has several guitar instruction DVDs, and is considered one of the best B bender guitarists in the world. Placing top 5 in Guitar Player magazine 2011 Superstar Guitarists. He frequently is a guest artist at the Dallas International Guitar Festival, playing the All Star set along with many superstar guitarists.
