I have been a pro guitarist for 20+ years in the Tri-State area, playing many different styles and I am now bringing all of my experiences to help singers and songwriters complete their projects from my home studio.
I can provide rhythm, lead and bass guitars to your tracks, basic keyboard/piano tracks or sequences, drum programming and help with arranging. I can take your simple melody/chords and turn in into a complete arrangement, ready to be mixed or mastered.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Dave crushes guitar the way a college frat house crushes beer cans. Unbelievably fast and in quantities that seem inhuman. Seriously, an excellent guitarist, sent everything to me at requested specs and communicated clearly, as to his busy schedule. Creatively brilliant, and with guitar moves at a speeds one would have to call EXPERT. Hire Dave to make whatever you have sound its absolute best.

This man is the man for the job. He was super patient throughout the process and sends you more than enough content to pick and choose what works best for you, no other guitarists like this one! Hit him up and get right!

Interview with Dave Crum
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, country-rock, pop, R&B, EDM
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Creative parts, ambient textures, hard rocking power chords, layered walls of guitar, delicate finger picked acoustic, etc.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen to the song, look over the notes, take my own notes. If I'm laying down guitar parts, I'll typically choose a guitar and just dive right in and hit record.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Hybrid. I like analog pedals, but digital amplifiers and plug-ins. Setting up microphones and getting great live amp tones is not my thing. I don't have thousand dollar microphones and isolation cabinets needed to get one or two great guitar tones. I can get amazing tones using plug-ins and they are consistent every time, as well as more versatile for me.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being able to capture vibes of specific players. Having played in cover bands for over 20 years, I have had to learn the styles of many great guitarists.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have over 30 guitars, hundreds of analog pedals, and the best amp simulators and plug-ins available. I can get classic Marshall or American clean tones and everything in between, as well as ambient and crazy fuzzed-out noise!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm a big fan of the work Glen Ballard did with Alanis Morissette as well as the legendary studio guitarists of the 80's and 90's.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly guitar tracks- rhythm, lead, acoustic. I can also do bass, ukulele and various piano/keyboard tracks.
