Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen!
Hello! I am Sinan and I am a recording engineer/producer, singer and songwriter. 13-14 years ago, I founded bands, which I had several duties like Vocals/Guitars/Bass Guitar etc. in, participated in local music contests, and took respectable degrees. I also have sung in my University’s Choir for 2 years. Then, I was sure what I was going to do with my life, I have enrolled in SAE Istanbul in 2010. After I have graduated from SAE Istanbul Audio Engineering Program in 2011 with the 2nd highest grade average in class, I have focused on my solo synth-pop/funk project called SinanU. Then, I also started to produce EDM tracks to understand the dynamics of music production. Since 2013 I have been giving lectures and private lessons on Music Production in Bogazici University Music Club and Also Radio Bogazici.
I know the hard path you are walking on as a musician, because I have been on that path for years and I want to help you as much as I can. I can help you with audio production, mixing, mastering, singing, guitars, editing, remixing, songwriting, editing, beat making. I am not exaggerating my fields since I have been doing all of these for years for my various projects.
My work won’t be over till you get 100% satisfied.
Please feel free to get in contact with me for any inquiries.

Interview with Sinan Ugurdag
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: It's been more than 15 years since I wrote my first piece of music, and almost a decade since I produced my first music.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I need to listen to the piece I am going to be working on for a hundred times(No exaggeration). Then, when I sense I am in the piece already, I get started with it. If I am going to produce the music, I start with whether guitars or electric pianos to play the chords. After that I improvise, listen, criticise my work, change it and repeat. If I am going to mix the music, I choose what I need to hear as a listener on different parts of the music. Then I start with, bass frequencies to help them to be heard more precisely.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Nowadays, if you have a good laptop, you are almost able to do everything. But I have much more than that. :) I am co-owner of a studio and one home studio here. Mostly, before I mix I do make everything with a laptop, but mixing is important. I do make mixing in the studio with KRK's. I also have a Gibson Les Paul, Martin Acoustic Guitar, Ibanez George Benson Signature Series guitar etc, and I am about to buy a Nord synth but I think they are irrelevant at this point.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It is like a dream job coming true after all those years of hard work and believing in myself. What would anybody expect from life more than this?
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "Can you make a discount?" And my answer varies if I believe in that project or not.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: - macbook pro - 2 octaves midi keyboard - sennheiser earphones - martin acoustic guitar - Rode NT1a - focusrite audio interface oops. that made it 6.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on Şenceylik's new EP, Rıza Kuruüzümcü's "Awareness with Art" Project and on my new single.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. You need to follow new things at every field especially in this era of technology.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will never give up, I will never complain, I will never stop trying to improve until my client gets full satisfaction with my work.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: This is something that everybody can do without working hard. It is impossible to be on this spot without working for years and trying to improve yourself day after day. I couldn't even count how many times I have seen the sunrise with headphones.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: You need to share my enthusiasm with your own music. I can send you an e-mail about a draft I made in the middle of the night. :)
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Well, I have been in countless projects, varying from hip-hop to jazz, but now if I need to be specific I would say, electro-pop. But not cheesy pop, instead of it something that is both for commercial listeners and also for musician's ears.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Michael Jackson. He really has an incredible voice and a great music taste. Unfortunately it is not possible anymore.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Never release anything before listening with iPhone's earphones. Those are the most used ones, remember.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Since I am a Singer/Songwriter, I also produce my own music. That is why, I
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Diligence.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Since I am versatile, which means, I have worked as a Singer, Songwriter, Recording Engineer, Mixing Engineer, Producer, Arranger on various projects, now I feel like I now what the music needs(musicianship skills) and I am able to do that(producer skills)
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Quincy Jones and Herbie Hancock to be precise. Without them, the thing we call music with all the synthesizers wouldn't be the way we have today.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I produce songs to be clear.
