I play violin/viola/cello/upright bass/guitar/synths and can write and record my own arrangements/parts to your songs or compositions.
I have recorded/arranged/produced for many artists/producers such as Phantogram, Tinashe, Ty Dolla sign, MAX, Frenship, Gladys knight, Linda Perry, Dallas Austin, LP, Macy Gray, Aj Mitchell, and many more. I have also played on numerous TV and Film scores such as LOST, Star Trek, Fringe, Super 8 and Land of the Lost. I have a full studio with open room/wood floors that sounds incredible for string recording and have tons of experience mixing strings/sections as well. I can send great stems or a mixed two-track of the strings, can be anywhere from string quartet/single instruments to full string orchestra. I am fluid in all styles and also read treble, bass, viola and tenor clefs. I also produce a lot and can program strings or synths if needed for your song, and/or add to the live strings that I do. I love making up my own parts, adding to parts that you have started or reading down charts.

Nick's a gem to work with. Not only does he have great taste and delivery AMAZING quality tracks - he's communicative, clear and super easy to work with. Highly recommend working with him and think he can help bring a track to the next level with great string elements and production.

Nick sent my requested tracks within the time promised and provided just what my song needed. I asked for a cello part full of emotion and feeling, and he certainly delivered! In addition, he included a few musical options I hadn't even thought of, which really added to the song's arrangement. I would not hesitate calling on him again when another project calls for cello or strings.

Great working with Nick. He followed my ideas to a tee and provided a whole bunch of wonderful options. Sad thing is, you'll want to put strings on everything!

Nick's my go-to guy for upright bass. Very skilled musician, professional communicator, and always gets the recordings to me in record time. You should work with him if you can.
