I use Ableton 10 Standard to record at home with an Austrian Audio OC818 mic (provides a silky yet powerful and detailed sound). I have a world-class quality cello handmade by Marco Pedrini in Cremona, Italy, built in 2008. I often get compliments from recording engineers about its warm tone and especially delicious bass frequencies.
My basic offer is an improvised/instantly composed cello part for your piece, or I can read your sheet music/midi and bring it to life. I can also create multi-layered cello voices making beautiful (or, if necessary, terrifying/angry/etc!) cello choirs to fit into your string sections. Let yourself be surprised by the flexibility and range of the cello.
I feel especially at home with singer-songwriters on guitar or piano, but am equally at home with bands of all sorts or classical music. My personal project is a cello ensemble, so I love blending the sound of several acoustic cellos together.
