Natasha Jaffe - Cello on SoundBetter

Flexible, creative, and professional - cello parts for any kind of project. Experience on stage and in the studio with hundreds of singer-songwriters and bands since 2012.

I use Ableton 10 Standard to record at home with an Austrian Audio OC818 mic (provides a silky yet powerful and detailed sound). I have a world-class quality cello handmade by Marco Pedrini in Cremona, Italy, built in 2008. I often get compliments from recording engineers about its warm tone and especially delicious bass frequencies.

My basic offer is an improvised/instantly composed cello part for your piece, or I can read your sheet music/midi and bring it to life. I can also create multi-layered cello voices making beautiful (or, if necessary, terrifying/angry/etc!) cello choirs to fit into your string sections. Let yourself be surprised by the flexibility and range of the cello.

I feel especially at home with singer-songwriters on guitar or piano, but am equally at home with bands of all sorts or classical music. My personal project is a cello ensemble, so I love blending the sound of several acoustic cellos together.
You will receive an unedited track that you edit and use as you wish. Please include me in any credits with my name Natasha Jaffe and my website where appropriate.

I love to hear the final edits, so please stay in touch! I will add any YouTube videos with my recordings to my YouTube playlist.

Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.
