I am offering online song mixing or mastering or a bundle of both! Your raw tracks to a release ready song! I am most familiar with rock/punk/pop/metal and also acoustic stuff. But I am very interested in working with all kinds of music. KyySounds is my own business/studio. I am working mainly in-the-box with Pro Tools but I have old vintage mixer and a hardware compressor that I might use depending on the project. I am also able to take more "productive" approach if needed.
While recording is no doubt the most crucial part of the process a lot of things can still be done in the mixing phase. And if you are planning to use my mixing service and have not yet recorded the songs I am more than happy to give you few tips so that you are able to get the best results with your equipment.
Mastering is the final phase of the process. This is the part where I am making sure that your songs are playing as loud as they should while still retaining desirable amount of dynamics. Some changes to the overall character of the songs can also be made.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am hosting a space that I like to call ”KyySounds Headquarters” . It is only a 18 -squaremeter-sized room located in Kouvola, Finland but serves me well when I am recording things like guitar, bass or vocals. I am also doing most of my mixing and mastering there. When recording instruments that require acoustically a bit more from the room I tend to take the project somewhere else for a few days. I am also more than happy to come join you to a studio near you. Thanks to my mobile rig we can also do recordings at your rehearsal place, your cabin or at your home!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Eric Valentine
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
