Matt and Matthew both hold masters degrees in Trumpet and Trombone, from the University of Redlands and UCLA. They are active musicians, performing everything from classical and latin, to funk and disco, jazz and blues, and everything in between. Let's take your music to the next level!
Intro to Music Theory is the electronic project by two vagabond horn players from Los Angeles. We travel the world performing in orchestras, jazz bands and combos, salsa and rock bands, and in the DJ booth. Recently, we were on tour through Southeast Asia, New Zealand and Australia. We have spent a lifetime writing, educating and performing.
Matt and I love to collaborate with other artists. We can transcribe tracks from MIDI stems you send us, or you can allow us to improvise and use our experience to create something unique for you.
We are well-versed in Ableton, and can process our stems for you, as well as provide the raw WAV files.
