Hi, I'm Robert Lopez, founder and owner of Crates Music. Since 2008 I’ve been obsessed with music and the connection it builds between creative minds alike. In 2010, I attended school at Pinnacle College located in Los Angeles California to become an Audio Engineer. After Graduating I began my journey interning and working at professional studios while performing as a Hip Hop artist, producer and engineer who opened up headliner shows for Legendary artist such as Pharcyde, Ghost Face Killah, Action Bronson, Raekwon, GZA, Elzhi, Pharoh Monch, Souls of Mischief and the list goes on...
At the start of 2014 I began to reevaluate my future and decided to dedicate my time and focus towards my passion of owning and running my very own Recording Studio and Music Company.
