Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Trust our ears, not just your outside ones, but your inside ones too. It takes time to build trust, just as it does to build experienced ears, so be patient.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Obviously, most of my experience is with my own musical compositions which range anywhere from edm/dubstep to orchestral/ambient soundscapes, but I have a ton of experience with singer songwriter clients.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Definitely editing.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to think outside the box and make creative continuity in the music that goes beyond the sonic sandwich of a beat bun, chord cold-cuts, and melody mayonnaise. To me, music is storytelling so the composition, edit and mix should seat the listener within that space for a holistic experience.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in a small, home studio featuring Yamaha HS8 studio monitors, midi keyboard, mics, and a guitar amp.
