Interview with TIM WALCHE (Artem Vasylchuk)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is my ability to create unique and personalized music for each client I work with. I take the time to get to know my clients on a deeper level, understanding their personality, tastes, and preferences. This enables me to craft music that truly resonates with them and reflects their individuality. I believe that every artist deserves a sound that is truly their own, and I'm committed to helping them achieve that. By prioritizing the uniqueness of each project, I ensure that my clients receive a final product that stands out and exceeds their expectations.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is Genelec 8340, calibrated with GLM kit, UAD Apollo Twin X, Audeze LCD X, and Alesis V49 Midi Keyboard. I am a huge fan of UAD and Acustica Audio plugins. I have a lot of those on the board.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: There are many musicians and music production professionals who inspire me, each for their unique approach to their craft. Some of my biggest inspirations include Matteo Milleri of Tale of Us and Anyma, ARTBAT, Rüfüs Du Sol, CamelPhat, Stephan Bodzin, Maceo Plex, Chris Lake, Röyksopp and Moby. These artists all have a distinct sound and style that I admire, and I'm constantly learning from their techniques and methods. In terms of mixing engineering, Luca Pretolesi is a standout for me. I've always been impressed by the quality of his mixes, and I even completed his mixing course to learn more about his techniques. His approach to achieving the perfect sound is truly inspiring, and I'm always striving to incorporate what I've learned from him into my own work.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The primary type of work I do for my clients is music production. This typically involves creating original music tracks from scratch, as well as performing mixing and mastering services. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is helping my clients bring their musical visions to life. As a beginner in music production, it can be challenging to navigate the complexities of DAWs and plugins. I draw on my extensive experience to guide my clients through these challenges and ensure that their music matches their creative vision. It's always a joy to hear my clients say "Omg bro, this is exactly what I had in mind." I take great pride in delivering results that exceed their expectations, and I always encourage my clients to trust in my expertise.
