Evan Yester on SoundBetter

Hey, I'm Evan! As a drummer, engineer, mixer, and producer, I have worked on a wide variety of projects in the studio environment being on both sides of the glass, as well as working on live shows. I want to use my experience and technical skills to help you achieve the sound you hear in your head. Let's make some music!

I am a freelance drummer, engineer, and mixer from Pittsburgh, PA. I earned my degree in Commercial Music Technology from California University of Pennsylvania and have been steadily honing my skills, working on many different projects from indie rock, indie pop, pop punk, dream pop, hip hop, and jazz artists.

As a drummer, I can record and mix the ideal drum track to complement your song. I have experience playing many different genres of music as well as a vast collection of vintage drums and cymbals to help you achieve that sound you hear in your head. I spend my free time experimenting with different microphone setups and recording techniques. I have the ability to fully record a drum kit in my home studio using high quality microphones and studio gear and deliver your product to you anywhere in the world!

As an engineer, I care deeply about your creative vision and I want to use my technical skills to turn your idea into a cohesive product. I am constantly listening to and analyzing mixes from countless artists, so I can better serve the sound you are going for. I can deliver a polished, professional mix and master in multiple formats that will hold water in the highly competitive music market.

Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have! I am committed to providing excellent communication and paying strict attention to detail.
