  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: "Jacob Wadydy-Big Kid Trap City," I produced 1/2 of the project, and mixed and mastered all of it singlehandedly.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: a new album for myself as an artist, produced by Buddah Bless This Beat

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: not yet! still new!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both! I love the warm sound of analog, but i also appreciate the convenience of digital

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I promise I will put 6 hours into each record of mixing and mastering. Attention to detail, and a competitive and quality product.

  12. A: working with passionate and talented artists that know how to work and stay within the sweet spot in the mic

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: How should I send the files? pleas export all audio files into a compressed folder or export session as AAF

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: I make all of my work look easy, however i actually spend 6 hours on each record, I dont just slap pre sets on! every voice and song is different!

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: Are you working on an album? or are you focused on promoting singles?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Record your music properly meaning make sure the gain and input levels are not too high. Also remember not to record into the back of the mic! haha

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Nueman U87, Mac laptop, yamaha hs 5's, and Scarlett USB interface for easy portability, since were in the desert lol

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My mother paid for my first recording session when I was 11 years old. I got tired of engineers screwing up my music, so i opened up my own recording studio in Atlanta GA. Grew up with producer Buddah Bless

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My style is fresh, current, seasoned, warm, and full!

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Pharrell because of his outside the box thinking when it comes to songwriting and creating a groove that fits the artists and maintains his personal sound.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: don't over compress! You can't mix a bad recording, and you can't master a bad mix!

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Hip Hop, Trap, Rap, RnB, and spoken word.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: eq'ing, proper compression, d'essing, and drops in a beat.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring character, harmonics, and a crisp, balanced, industry competitive sound.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I make an effort to put atleast 6 hours into every record I mix and master, in between taking time to allow my ears to rest and remain fresh for proper mixing and mastering.
