Ciao ! I'm Liuk, an italian musician, teacher and producer. I've been the guitarist and arranger in TV commercials of Ferrero, IKEA, Tic Tac, Nokia in my studio Riverplant Music Studios. I write music and perform live for the biggest tv sport show in Italy. I recorded albums, played live shows and teached for the last 20 years of my life.

Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A big picture vision: I usually write parts for all the instruments and play both bass and a bit of drums, so I developed a sense of "orchestration" between every element.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I believe playing my guitar alongside an 18 elements orchestra is still one of the craziest memories I have of my job.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll give 101% to the song.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: To have a clear vision of what they are looking for. A reference is wonderful so I could pin point the sound they are after !
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Started playin at 14, giving lesson at 17. Started a band, recorded some songs, took them on the road. Went to a music university here in Milan, graduated, then opened Riverplant Music Studios with my dad (he's a musician too), where we produce music for advertising, TV series, and young artists. In 2020 I started working with the biggest tv show on SkySport Italia, writing, recording & mixing music for it, and playing live during the show. I also play in "Leo&theblueband" for private/corporate events. I realized this the other day.. I spent more of half of my life playing guitar. :)
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: A good mix of energy and chill.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: My inner child would scream if I'll ever have the chance to work with BMTH, Foo Fighters or Myles Kennedy !
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: "Fix in the mix" rarely works. Always better to make the recordings already sound good !
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Acoustic, Rock (pop, alt..), metal.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start with a chat. Sometimes clients have a clear idea of what they want, and sometimes they just ask me to add whatever I think the song needs. Then record & send a demo of the work for approval, and then deliver the final product. Same with prod and mix.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Too many artists to name. As producers, I would say Rick Rubin and Mick Gordon are the ones I love the most for their vision.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I rec guitars, otherwise I will arrange and/or produce your song. Always trying to serve the song !
