I'm Jake, English LA based songwriter and singer - you may know me as the singer/songwriter of Indie Pop band Early Hours. I am a versatile songwriter, specializing in lyrics but priding myself on being able to build a song out of nothing. I am also here for you if you need a song sung in an English accent! I have a songwriting degree from Berklee.

I specialize in top-lining and lyrics with an emphasis on storytelling. However I am experienced in a number of genres and excited at the opportunity of working in a number of different spheres. Am also comfortable producing a demo.

I cut my teeth as the lead singer and songwriter for South African based Indie Pop band Early Hours which I grew to be one of the biggest acts in the country and the first in South African history with over 1 million streams on a song on soundcloud, later achieving much more than that. After feeling I had achieved all I could with that group I decided I wanted to pursue songwriting at a higher level and after being awarded a songwriting scholarship to Berklee College Of Music [John Mayer; Charlie Puth] I moved to the US. I am now based in LA working full-time as a songwriter and artist.
