Songwriting Salon is now online! This means that we get to bring inspired songwriters from all over the country together in this intimate and dynamic space. Salon is a combination of the thoughtful workshopping your original songs, studying the songwriters you most admire, and instruction on advanced aspects of songwriting, for example hook writing, unusual forms, and rhyme schemes. One-on-one sessions give us the opportunity to do exciting, focused, and efficient work together. I get to meet you exactly where you are at, as we help your songs become the sparkling gems they are meant to be, and we home in on exactly what you need to springboard your writing in general. This approach is especially recommended for songwriters developing a body of work to be recorded and/or performed.

As far as music production, I like to approach music production as an extension of the songwriting, taking cues from the melodic and harmonic gestures inside of the song. This means finding the right sonic homes. The recording process can be immensely catalytic, and I make sure you have a great experience and come away with a beautiful rendering of your work.
